Bingo. Especially if you get what my wife describes as a "maple syrup"
smell. Had this problem on an Escort wagon with air-conditioning. Put in a
new heater core. Bitch of a job. JUST after the warranty went out on the
new core, it happened again. Repeat bitch of a job. I should have had the
good sense to take it to the junkyard instead.
