Subject: Electric grinder

I am looking for opinions on an electric grinder. As I now live in a 2
bedroom apartment I dont have room for the 5HP 50 gal. compressor that is
still at the parents(sigh, mabye someday I will be able to afford that 12
car garage with kitchen and office I've always dreamed of) so electric is my
only choice. What I am planning on using it for is mild head porting(very
mild as I am inexperienced, but willing to learn) and polishing of wheels,
cleaning up welds, paint stripping and such. Any ideas of a decent grinder?
What to look for and what to run from?
