Someone responded regarding the fire hazard of the grungy
version of the carpet. My$.02 from my own experience, get
commercial carpeting. It usually has a very short pile, so your
floor jack will roll on it and most important, is is far more fire
retardant than many home carpets. I have done arc welding
with the associated droppings on this stuff and the molten
globs just lie there and go out. Use the previous info, of
course, at your own risk.
