I have used POR 15 a couple of times....some observations: 1) It is
difficult to handle/use.... you have to be very careful handling it as it is
impossible to remove from your skin after it dries; 2) The base POR 15
deteriorates
in light so in most applications you need a top coat; 3) for successful
application you should paint over a light rusted surface (best) or a
scuffed-up or
blasted bare metal surface...covering a painted or partially painted frame
with POR 15 is a waste of money; and 4) POR 15 is expensive!
Good luck, Steve G.

oletrucks is devoted to Chevy and GM trucks built between 1941 and 1959
