I too have had many leaky rochesters. Someone from one
of these lists or the stovebolt page told me that
after a rebuild to soak the carb in a coffe can full
of gas overnight before you install it. I took the
leaking carb off my '49 and did just that. It has been
two years now and it still does not leak. Brian
