Mark................Moss Motors just had an article you might be
interested in reading in their last Add/Article rag about tires, new against
old and
evaluations of same...................Mel

I have 1997 (according to my tire guy) Mastercraft M-R 325 165R15
tires on my MGA. They came with the car and appear to be in good
condition.

What tire pressure are you MGA guys running on with comparable tires?

My typical drive is over Mount Tam, past Stinson Beach to Tomales Bay
and back. Lovely windy roads and I like the way the car corners. I
just had the car checked for alignment and he pushed the tire pressure
up to 34 psi which feels hard. I dropped it to 26 on the front and 24
on the back (per MGAGuru) and squealed a lot and nearly lost it on one
corner this evening.

Suggestions? (other than the obvious one: go slower)

Thanks
Mark
