I sent the message below to our members to let them know the January
Detroit Triumph Sportscar Club newsletter is available online. I'd sure
like to see some of your newsletters if you are posting electronic
versions. Drop a note to the list to let everyone know. If anyone wants
to reprint anything in our club's newsletter, let me know and I'll provide
Word docs and photos. If any of you have anything to offer, please let us
all know! Especially in these winter months, I know at least I am
scratching to get content.
The 'My First Triumph' series is gaining momentum and I'd suggest you all
start something similar. Once our members started seeing others sending in
stories and getting pics of their cars in the paper, everyone wants
in! That's the one thing I have about 3 articles in the can of for future
issues.

Hello fellow DTSC members,
Happy New Year! Nursing that hangover? Why not sit back, relax and read
the January, 2003 edition of the DTSC Triumph Review which is available for
download from the web? There's a great article about a 1938 Morgan that
gets a Triumph engine transplant, another about the TR7 Spider, and another
great "My First Triumph" article.
A big thanks to everyone who contributed either pictures or articles. I
always need more. Please send me an article for the My First Triumph
series. Or just a cool picture you took of your car. Especially this time
of year, with fewer events to recap, let's hear from some of you technical
or mechanical types for a "How To" article. Whatever you send, I'll
use. If you need help figuring out how to get it to me, give a call at
313-289-9280.
The web version contains color photographs where they were available. The
images are reduced in resolution for viewing on computer monitors. The
printed, black & white version will be in your mailboxes prior to the
January member meeting. You can print it on any ordinary printer if you'd
like. Please note it is in Adobe's PDF format and therefore requires the
Adobe Acrobat reader, version 4 or later. The newsletter is available at:
