Does anyone have any street experience with lightened flywheels. Is the increase in acceleration worth the cost? I've been told they do wonders, but make the clutch a bit grabby. Any other down sides? I'm exploring options for the engine in my 67 B for that distant day that it hits the streets. Looking at a mildish overbore, fast street head and 1 3/4 S.U.s (just like the look of SUs), and a lightened flywheel -- as I'm mostly after acceleration vs. top end. Thanks Michael, New Bern, NC |
