There is a stereo product that one of my friends has in a 49 Ford called
"Hidden Audio". It's a modern stereo radio w/ digital tuning and a CD
changer that mounts in the trunk. the controller is 1"x2.5" on a cord with a
small tuning display that can be hidden, or mounted on the console. It is
totally invisible and allows the stock radio or the MG blanking plate to be
used. Most audio shops will know about this set-up. It cost about $200 for
the basic unit.
