I am almost at the point where I am going to start up my car. I plan to do
the following;
1) Pull the plugs and coil lead and turn it over until the oil pressure
comes up.
2) Start her up (optimistic) and bed the cam in.
3) Shut her down and change the oil. Will change again after about 1000
miles and then go to a regular maintance of about 3000 miles.
I won't have the exhaust system on, just the headers. Is there some danger
of wrecking the valves?
