Hello all,
It's been a while since I've done any V-8 stuff (other than keeping
my Rangie on the road). Many of you know I've been busy with my
'B-GT rally car (took 2nd in class at the last event to end up 3rd in
class for year end!). Also ran a decent stint in the roadster, ended
up with a 2nd in the San Diego Region Solo II Street Mod class, and
that was with the 4 banger!
However, I think it is time to get the engine done. I'm looking for a nice,
late 3.5 block, preferably in the SoCal (San Diego?) area. I think I told
the story of woe here about pulling apart one 3.5 I had only to discover
cracked bearing saddles. Plans for the block will be +.020 and high
compression pistons. My 3.9 engine is going in the Range, towing the
rally car is a real drag with the 3.5 in it.
Also looking for: driveshaft (TR-8 gearbox to 'B rear axle) and radiator.
