my a is done and i need to place the rear view mirror..what kind is it
originally
<<<snip>>>

It's a small rectangular one mounted right on the scuttle just like a
TD. The head is different though as there's no separate rim. There's a
few metal tabs holding the mirror to the backing. Depending on the MGA
model, the post holding the head may have the studs for the tonneau
built right into it. You best bet is too look at pictures in "Original
MGA" unless you want someone to scan and send you some.

I have t ones
left and also the placement of the guages on the dashboard is the oil/
temp guage (LHD) car left of the speaker or to the right?
<<<Snip>>>

The center guages are in the same position whether the car is LHD or
RHD. That is the fuel is on the left and the oil/water on the right.
That causes problems as the key fob obscures the oil guage. So some
owners reverse the two guages so the key fob obscures the fuel guage.
There is a picture of a preproduction LHD car and it definately has the
oil/water on the left and the fuel on the right. So, MG built at least
one car that way!
