As I gradually go through and improve things on my "new" 1953 MDTD I
decided to clean out the toolbox. Interesting what accumulates in there
(auto parts store receipt from 1985...). After cleaning and rustproofing
the metal I figured I would finish it off right and get the felt kit
from Moss, which is supposed to come with an installation diagram. Well,
no such luck...all I got was a roll of felt. So I'm wondering if anyone
else has ever done this restoration and might have the diagrams I'm
missing.

Baring that, I'm wondering what should be the toolbox. Mine included a
block of wood into which things were screwed from below. I'm assuming
this is not original and so I'm intending to not put it back in. Or is
it original and intended as a divider of some sort? Should there be
anything in there other than flat walls covered with felt? Does anyone
even know what it was like originally any more I wonder :-)
