I am considering buying a MGTD and need some help on understanding the
location of the engine number.
I have found the car and engine number on the plate on the firewall. What I
do not understand is how to check the number on the engine to determine if
they match.
The fire wall number is XPAG TD2 20---.
A number on the engine head is REF118. There may be a number on what looks
like a flat part of the block (right side). There is a screw in the middle
of that flat section buy no plate.
Where should the engine number be located?
Any help would be appreciated.
