A clarification: My apologies, I think some people might have thought
I was saying I saw the race track was underwater. My description of
the water was only from the end of the access road -- I don't know
how far that is from the official track. The pictures on
http://www.saltflats.com make it look worse than it is -- you don't
see that the water is fairly shallow. The water looks like it goes
pretty far looking north, but it was a fairly short crossing for the
trucks looking west.
