Hello to all,
Being in the automotive service industry gives me a bit of a negative
bias on motor homes. At one time I though that having a motor home to
tour the states might be a good idea. For some it seems to work out just
fine, but like Dick, when I took into account all the expense of
maintaining the vehicle, filling it with fuel and the fact that most are
grossly under powered, it doesn't look so good to me. Plus, my wife says
she would rather have someone else do the work of preparing the food and
making the beds.
I know that there are many out there who love their motor homes. If you
could afford a Diesel pusher, and I don't know too many people that can,
then things change a bit. As Yamaha says, "Different strokes for
different folks."
