John:
I stopped "participating" and went to just "lurking" on the MC Chassis List,
in-part because of the same obnoxious know-it-all. He really IS very
knowledgeable, but that is no reason for him to expect people to treat his
opinions like God's Word.

BTW-- are you the John Robinson who wrote several MC books for Newnes
Publishing? If so-- and you are going to be at Speedweek-- I'd like to get
together and get your autograph on "MC Tuning-- Two-Stroke"-- maybe ask you
a question or two. (I recently lost an ebay bid on "...Four-Stroke".)

I have had the same results, if they do move/rotate, its' less than 1/8
turn from original position....It's just one of those email list arguments
I try to stay out of as the objectionable to me person making the most
adamant arguments seems to be very inflexible, and there are no absolutes
IMHO, when it comes to engines. but it is an interesting subject, so
thought I would ask on the LSR list, cause I sure don't >really< don't want
to get into it on the other list....as the LSR list is pretty evenhanded,
except for the purple suit stuff and the rear steer discussions, of
course......
