Here's some more information I received about the problem and I think this=
bit of info really helps to diagnose the problem: " That engine came with=
a "gulp"valve to control pollution and the engine itself was a sealed sys=
tem. If those items were removed when put into a Bugeye "naked" (no pump) =
that could build a lot of blowby with no place for the pressure to exit." =
So that is why the old fuel pump mount is being used and by checking on an=
other forum, some folks have been successful in using this outlet, but it =
does require some special plumbing. We are now going to try something simi=
lar to what was described there. Plumbers hats firmly in place, we'll give=
