Bob,
AH Spares sells a magnetic washer for the overdrive. I have often seen, mos=
tly on the late model overdrive three or four magnetic washers inside the b=
rass drain plug, but they were of the flexible type, very much like thick f=
ridge magnet that yu get from Real Estate Agent or the likes. You can purch=
ase that stuff by the sheet at Staples in various thickness, so that is wha=
t I have done in the past and it seems to work.

As to overdrive pistons, I had a fairly torrid time with those quite recent=
ly. I should be inclined to ask Dave Twigger at Overdrive Spares. I=92m pre=
tty sure that he sells all types ie the AHSpares version, the original type=
and =96 I think =96 the DW type. He supplies them to all and sundry. Ask h=
im which he thinks is best for your application.
I didn=92t see the washer inside the piston casing in any of the photos. Mo=
st people insert them these days and I think they claim an extra 20 or so P=
SI.
