I have no idea if it is a Payen gasket or not.=C2=A0 Heck it's been sittin=
g in a package of engine gaskets for so long I'm not even sure if I bought =
it several years ago or it was given to me by the guy that built the short =
block.=C2=A0 Just trying to identify it.=C2=A0 If it is a Payen then I woul=
d have no problem using it.=C2=A0 Just don't know what it is.Mike M

If it's an older (English made) Payen and all the holes line up it should=
be fine for a stock engine with iron head.=C2=A0 We used one in our BN2 re=
build years ago, and it has caused no problems (but the car has probably be=
en driven less than a thousand miles).=C2=A0 Make sure the block and head f=
aces are flat or no gasket will work.
