I watched on Youtube. There was a lot of bumping and grinding in the SFR r=
ace. A friend of mine's son, Dave Ogburn, finished P2 despite taking hit t=
o the left rear under under the first double yellow. I understand it knocke=
d the left rear toe way out to where his steering wheel was about 45 degree=
s off. According to his dad, Car was doing a lot of crabbing.

If you=92re referring to what I think you=92re referring to (big square pie=
ce of flat metal that flew up in the air as a driver went through Turn 1), =
that was a part of the undertray dislodged by some pretty stout nose to tai=
l contact. It was the part that goes under the radiator and back to the fo=
otwell. That=92s probably 5 pounds of pretty sturdy aluminum sheet with sh=
arp corners and edges. Cars are motoring through that corner at around 85 =
mph. If that thing had come down on someone, it would have been a very bad=
day.
But, yes, I do spend some time dodging dislodged body panels from time to t=
ime.

Anthony, I did not get a chance to stop by your paddock, but saw you drivin=

ti, who started his race career in what is now my TR3A, went to hospital wi=
th multiple fractures.
My goal for the race was just to keep my nose clean (Jesse Prather's advice=

race with at the back, so that kept it interesting. Only got down to 1:46.=
