I would expect them to be different but can't say for sure. I can get
exact measurements for a GT6 stub axle if that will help. Anybody got a free
Spitty one laying around?

I don't know the specific differences but they do carry different part
numbers. The late Spit uprights are PN GSJ265 and 266, while the GT6 PNs
are GSJ264 and 267. The differences may be just in the finished pieces and
the Spit ones may be upgradeable.

Subject: [Fot] spitfire vs GT6 front upright
can anyone confirm if the taper machined into in the late model front
upright (ie the type without a "hole" for the steering arm), is the same
GT6
and Spitfire.???> The Gt6 uses bigger bearings and a bigger stub axle to
match, and i think, a different taper. would like 100% confirmation if
possible
