In about a week I'll wade through your detail.  I'm sure the answer is there 
for all of us.  I don't think we need the full thirty layers (or do we?)  so 
if we were to build up a Kevlar mat treating it just like fiberglass and then 
finished the outsides with fiberglass to give it the tunnel shape and seal it 
from moisture would that be along the lines of your experience?  Your 
expertise overwhelmed me so please talk slowly...Steve
