Is there anyone on the list that has worked on or familiar with the '67 - 1600
4-speed trans? Got one simple question maybe one of you can answer. It's about
the two thrust washers on the reverse idler shaft. They are square (straight)
on 3 edges and round on one. They are steel on one FACE and brass or bronze on
the other side. Both of these washers are like this. Question is: Which of
these faces steel or brass contacts the aluminum case and which one faces the
steel gear? I hope that makes sense!
