Can't speak for Todd, but the "R" has one - LED strip mounted to a plate
that's welded to the rollbar. The rollbar pad fits around the plate, so all
you see is the strip. The wiring runs inside the bar. There's pics of it
under the Lot's-O-Stuff, Marriage, and It ALIVE links on my website

I got the 20 LED strip from JCWhitless http://tinyurl.com/yzr4om - its
very light, and comes with a very aggressive 3M double sided foam tape. If
you don't have a rollbar, you could mount one to the leading edge of the
trunk lid. It would be easy to fold a thin, "J"-shaped aluminum bracket
that would have a vertical face extending above the trunk to mount the LED
strip on - probably could be made of heavy AL roof flashing:

| < LED mounting surface
| ____________________________< trunk

A flat ribbon cable scarfed from a junk printer etc., folded and routed
inside the bracket, some additional double-sided tape to stick it to the
trunk lip, and you'd be in business. No holes to drill. Ziptie the wires
to the trunk hinge, with some slack under the turtle deck.
