Are there any easy fixes to look for with a dead gas
gauge ('68 2000).  I remember years ago this happened
at Solvang, and Herb Petty reached into the foot well
and performed some kind of Modesto magic, but for the
life of me I don't know what he did.  Must have been
good though, because that fix lasted 7 or 8 years.
Any suggestions are most appreciated.
