Time for me to address another annoying thing with my car, the hood release.
What used to happen once a week is now happening almost every ten miles, my
hood pops open. I am embarrassed when it happens, (kinda like walking around
with your fly un-done.) and fear that one day a strong gust of wind could make
things interesting.
I have tightened and loosened the male part on the hood, which makes it
difficult to open up at times, but still opens up when it wants to. (When it
is difficult to open, I use a flat screwdriver with a cloth wedged and lever it
up while pulling the hood release.) What else can I look at? TIA,
