True story (not that the rest of the rubbish I throw at you guys is a pack
of lies, of course):
Driving home from my mother-in-law's place a few weeks back (yeah, as fast
as possible 8^) ) and although it was sunny when we left, the weather soon
closed in as we hit the freeway. (If any of you know Melbourne, you'll it's
true to say that if you don't like the weather, just stick around a few
minutes!).
It started POURING down. Absolutely pissing, wipers on full - thank god we
don't rely on Lucas electrics, huh? - but we're doing 65mph.
Result?
Not a single drop on us.
I was *really* impressed! Even slowing down to 50mph for an exit, caught
behind some slow cars, and we didn't get wet. And by the time we got off
the freeway, and hit usual traffic lights and stuff, the rain had stopped!
So it's true when the guys say to you - if it's raining, just drive faster!
