I've got the stock muffler from Datsun on my car. I really like the sound of
it. Almost dead quite at idle yet when you rev it up for a fast take off,
you really know it. It sounds good and isn't really loud when cruising
either.

I got this muffler and pipes back in '86 from a Datsun/Nissan dealer that
still carried some original parts - I bet they don't anymore. We got it
nickel plated to prevent rust. Seems to be good so far, only 14 years later,
although I've only put about 5,000 miles on it in that time.

My subjective evaluation...Tried the turbo and was not happy with the
sound...too boat-like. I decided on a Magnaflow straight-thru (loud alone)
and then added a resonator tip. Nice sports car type sound, medium loudish
under hard accel but quiet at idle.
