I think Datsun put on whatever they had in stock at the time and the hell
w/the model year. I saw that in my early 1600 and someone I know had a
260Z with the small early 260Z in the front and the big ass 280Z bumper
in the rear!! And that was when the car was new and wasn't hit or restred
incorrectly.

Datsun did what Datsun wanted to do!
