Bob is QUITE a character. Both he and his wife Terry (another piece of work)
raced the roadster.  Then they got into Z's.   Last I heard they had bought a 
Winston Cup car, but that goes back a while.

Typical Studdard story:  Bob had a nitrous rig hidden in a fake fire 
extinguisher system.  He was told not to use the nitrous until the end of 
the race and only then in a small dose.

1st lap led the pack.
2nd lap Bob opens up the nitrous. 
3rd lap Bob limps to the pit without a head gasket.  doouugh!!
so much for leading the pack.

I have that manifold around here somewhere.
