Hello All: The P.O. installed an electronic ignition system. I removed the distributor cover in inspect the unit. I noticed that the vacume line to the distributor is plugged and the internal components are disconnected. Don't I still need the vacume advance even with an electronic ignition system installed? I'm thinking of replacing the P.O. ignition hatchet job with something that better fits the 2000 engine. Any input? Thanks Steve Harvey 68 2000 solex 70 1600 |
