Anyone Know Where to Get a "Thingamagigy" hose?

While stripping my engine bay to prep and paint, I found that the hose that
drains the vent area, in front of the windshield, was dry rotted and torn.
I seem to recall that this was a hard to find (and/or expensive) part to
come by.  Has anyone found a reasonable solution.  If one searched long
enough a it looks as if radiator hose of the proper "contorsions" would
work.  Anyone tried/accomplished this?
