Just a FYI to all you out there needing low windshield glass. It's been
well known for a while that it was scarce but you COULD still get it from
the dealer.
I just purchased mine last week from the local Nissan dealer. He showed
them to be on back-order (didn't know how long) but was able to get ONE from
the east coast as long as I was willing to pay the extra freight. He said
he had to search long and hard to find it.
In other words, if you need Low-windshield glass, get it now! ;-) MAYBE,
just MAYBE this constant trickle of roadster parts orders will keep the
Nissan accountant guru's allowing production of this stuff!
BTW, not to feed the thread of "datsun collectibility", but what would
happen if Nissan "FOUND IT'S ROOTS" and had some place like CDM restore
roadsters like they are resurrecting a bunch of ol 240's. Just a thought.
