Okay, thanks for the update Stan, so on to the next question ... Do the
earlier models suffer flexing firewalls? Does anybody know of a brace made to
cure the problem if there is a problem?

The firewall braces are made for the cars with the tandem brake master
cylinders. There are two variations, one for 67.5 and the other for 68-70.
I have not done any for the 65-67 cars with single brake master reservoirs.
