Gentleman,
We may be able to help each other? I have owned (last ten years) a 'diamond
in the rough' 69 -2000.
I have redone the engine ( valves, chain, tensioners, head resurfaced ),
and have completed general clean up/restoration
which has made the car an attention getter ( it's not concord, but it's
worthy of second looks and friendly discussion).
For the last three years, the car has been left on blocks ( I haven't had
time to play with it). I started the engine last
spring ( Fired right up - after oil squirts in the cylinders... etc.) . I
have decided to sell the car to an enthusiast, rather than
allow 'Little Red' to rust over concrete blocks. I have invested
$6000.00+ , and am willing to sell the car for $4000.00.
The car is complete & stock (only variation is it has a 1600 grill). If
you know of an interested buyer we can exchange
info & scanned pictures as required. I'm hoping 'Red' will be adopted and
returned to the road, turning heads, and
exhilarating hearts.
