The head was new in box but stored for maybe 10-12 years or more ??  not 
sure, purchased it from someone back east on this list quite a while back.  A 
local machine shop recently put the valves & rocker arm from old head on the 
new one. (he was amazed at the condition of the head & the original brass? 
valve seats) 

Also would it make any difference between a 3-main & 5-main engine?  Mine's a 
3-main block.
