Haven't heard anything back yet. For those that don't know, I'm looking
into importing a Wilpower single plane intake for my Rover stroker
project. I'll be using home ported Buick 300 heads, a Buick 300 crank,
and a Rover 3.9 block for a displacement around 290 cubes. The commonly
(stock Buick/Olds, Offy, Edelbrock) available carb intakes look
very restrictive for the displacement I'm looking for. My best bet is
one of the single plane intakes like the Harcourt, Huffaker, or Wilpower.
The Huffaker is no longer produced. The Harcourt looks like a possibility
but is expensive at over $400 (Barry Bassford is the sole U.S. importer).
That leaves me with the Wilpower which I'm told has the largest ports
and plenum of the lot. I've never even seen a picture of one so I emailed
Wilpower for a cost quote and some dimensional data. The best part is
that the Aussie to US exchange rate is very favorable right now so the
price, even with shipping and insurance, may be doable. I'll let you know
when I know more.

Later,
Dan Jones

     Hi Dan,
Any reply on that query about the Rover V8 intake from Wilpower?

     Any details.

     Greg
