Maybe you should make that three (unless you already know about my red '91). 
 Yes, I'm out of "the garage" with this one:  I own a Miata too.  I park it 
next to my '63 B and my '67 E-type and I think it's a great car, almost as 
much fun as the LBCs.  Turns on a dime, stops on a dime, costs about a dime 
to maintain (so far: 3+ years, 30+K miles).  Some critics have valid points 
to carp on:  I won't argue about design cues from the Elan; or about 
reactions (from some) of a lack of personality; or about British Leyland 
dropping the ball back in the 70's; or about Mazda picking it back up either 
in the 80's (and I WON'T argue about the Mercury Capri either!).  No, it 
won't set any land speed records but neither will most of our collective 
LBCs, and so what!; I'm not in that much of a hurry anyway.  :-)
