I've been playing around with an idea for a Bed & Breakfast
designed to attract British Car buffs and their families. The
B&B would be fairly ordinary except that it would include a
twelve
car stable of LBC's. Something like a TR-3, TR-4, TR-6,
Spitfire, MGA, MGB, A-H Sprite, E-Type, SB Tiger, SB Alpine, 60s
Elan, etc. It would also include a track designed primarily for
auto-crossing and would be located in an area that would be fun
for rallies. Visitors would have the opportunity to compete
against others in racing and rallying their own cars, or they
could use cars from the stable. This thing is at the dream
stage, but it would be fun to hear what people think. I view it
as a family alternative to racing camp, but some seem to think
that outside of hard-core racing (Formula Ford, etc.), people
wouldn't be interested in driving cars that weren't their own.
Any thoughts or ideas?
