Not true! I remember going into Inskip's in Manhattan in the fifties to
buy parts and seeing a four seater in the showroom. I have no idea how
many were made though.

I actually saw one being restored about 7 years, back when I lived in Boston.
As I dimly recall, the guy who owned the shop said the 4 seaters were
custom-modified by a dealer in NYC, much like you'd do a limo. The car
looked rather strange: picture a TD, but about 2 feet longer, with a single
long door on each side. I believe they were extremely rare.
