When Nigel Wrench had his power plant redone the first thing he did was to
blow the oil pressure guage! Yes too much pressure too fast.
You might want to check by disconnecting the hose that goes to the
guage. Also the hose on some is plastic; they get brittle and break. So
check also for leaks.
Also, Nigel has PC seals. I have no idea whether they are teflon
but eggs just don't stick to them :-).
