I finally got my Sportscar yesterday. Lots of Solo info in it!!!

Reading through the Prepared rules I had a question. In the class listing
it said that CP cars can use any alternate cylinder heads in which all of
the valves were in line. I assume this is an effort to allow the use of
the many aftermarket cylinder heads available for Ford and Chevy engines.
This is a good thing, but there are a couple of exceptions to consider.
Both the Cleveland style Ford and the big block Chevy have stock valves
that are not in a line and therefore all of the aftermarket heads for
these engines (except the very expensive Robert Yeates Ford heads) have
valves in the stock configuration which means they don't conform to this
line in the rules. The Cleveland style Ford heads are very commonly
used on 302 Ford engines, in fact they were the only alternate heads
allowed on a GT1 road racing car a few years ago (I haven't read the
GTCS lately so I don't know what may be allowed now).
