A help to Randy and others with electrical problems in lbs's would be the
Lucas "Fault Diagnosis Service Manual" Catalog no. 9001. A friend recently
sent me one of these. They were handed out at the Kimber fest back east
recently. It is printed in the U.S.A. and is dated 2/94. the only address
is: Lucas Aftermarket Operations,
Lucas Industries Inc. , Troy, Michigan.
One article throughly covers the ballasted coil circuit and how to trouble
shoot it. Electrical problems with distributors are covered but not the
mechanical ones. Mostly modern stuff, no 3 brush dynomos or magnetos.
