I suppose the British Motoring element of this post is that it would
be a great thing to motor to in one's British car!

Live Soup is a brewpub in Santa Cruz, California. As of a couple days
ago the pub has a hand pump (beer engine) with which to dispense real
cask-conditioned ale. For those of you who haven't had the pleasure,
this is the real "warm flat beer" that you hear about the British drinking.
The first batch of Real Ale won't be done for about a week and a half,
but for now the pub is dispensing their nut brown ale through the pump,
storing the beer at low room temperature and keeping one atmosphere of
CO2 on it (which is the proper way to store Real Ale).

Live Soup is located right at the end of the Ocean St. offramp where
Highway 17 terminates as it meets highway 1. When you get to the
traffic light at the end of the offramp, the pub will be immediately
on your right.

Cheers!
-Sam
