I believe TRF (and other brit car vendors, for that matter) participation in
british car related mailing lists would be beneficial. Your staff probably
has a lot to offer, and you may well get good feedback on various aspects of
your business.
Participating in the mailing list is not conceptually any different than
sending a TRF staff member to a club meeting in the Armagh, PA area to talk
about rebuilding ZS carbs, it's just that the community you're reaching
spans the globe and is a heck of a lot bigger than can probably fit in Joe's
Garage. You just can't see anyone. Don't worry. They're out there. Think
of it as another (inexpensive) way of reaching current and future customers,
customers with a demonstrated keen interest in their cars.
