re: the cam endthrust on my motor is ~2mm!
At the prompt of randy@taylor and Dennis@? (even after violently
disagreeing with them...well not violently) I rechecked the endfloat spec.
EEEEKKK! Its meant to be ?? to 0.178mm NOT 1.78mm Ican't read in the dim
light of my basement!. So, I have one helluva endfloat on my cam, and its
all assembled correctly. I am going to call the place where I bought it
to see what i can do. Perhaps poor core cam (its a regrind)??
Man, 2mm is way way too big! Let me repeat the order i
have things in:
Front cam bearing -> front plate gasket _> front plate -> cam lock plate ->
cam sprocket = 2mm endfloat??!!?? I'm sure that evething is in place.
Any suggestions??
