The funniest story regarding vanity plates happened in NYC. It seams
that an applicant could only come up with two guesses. The third
choise so he put "NONE". We.....ll when the NYC cops find a car
without plates, they put NONE in the space for liscence numbers.
So this poor guy has the swat team show up at his door with
a basket of warrents for his arrest since he is the owner of the car
registered with the "NONE" plate, and since it has several thousand
outstanding tickets.
