I own a Spitfire mk 1 and have experienced problems with
one front disc caliper overheating. It got so hot that all the rubber
seals and dust covers were destroyed by the heat. I took the caliper
apart thinking that the plungers had seized in the wells but all the
surfaces seemed shiney and smooth. I did find that the flexible brake hose
was faulty with a leak. Can anyone help me with this problem, thanx
