I too have never had much luck with the turn signal shut off on my TR7,
after replacing the switch unit with a salvaged unit (The headlight dip
switch was shot on my original) I find that deep turns will turn off the
blinker. So I have acquired the habit of turning the switch off myself.

On these Italian cars. I have a lot of time behind the wheel of a close
friends Alfa Romeo ('85 graduate). It is a lot of fun, the top is
unbelievably easy to put up, but the steering wheel and my right knee have
a little "spatial relationship" problem.

And you should see the inside of the dash on that car, what fun, what joy.

I am bummed that all sorts of DC lbc'ers came up to my wonderful city,
Baltimore, and (even more horrid) made it out to Sisson's without me.
Shame on you all! Besides, I've never had the chance to see a Spridget
up close.

(No, I am not a Baltimoron! I really am a Washingtonian...)
